Area distribution boxes are used to pre-equip a work area with consolidation points. They centralise connections to provide flexibility in RJ45 socket installation and workstation layout changes in the future.

• Distribution box only, compatible with Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A or Cat 8 RJ45 connectors (sold separately)
• Connection via patching enclosure or floor cabinet with 4 twisted pair cables
• Connection to RJ45 sockets with a RJ45/stripped cord or to a RJ45 socket with copper feedthrough with a RJ45/RJ45 cord
• Suitable for installtion in raised access floor, in false ceiling or on metal cable trays
• IP21 rating, protected against solid bodies larger than 12,5mm and against vertically-falling drops of water (condensation)
• Multiple fixing solutions on various supports. Fixing with screws, nails (compatible with gas fixing tool like Spit®) and cable ties in raised access floor, false ceiling or on metal cable trays.
• Relocate or add new workstations quickly and easily without the need of external resources
• Change the length or add a cord between the area distribution box and the RJ45 socket, no need to pull a new cable from the cabinet in the technical room up to the workstation
• Accomodates the same connectors as patchpanels
