This HPM Portable Safety Switch Plug is designed for the replacement of standard plug tops on tools such as electric lawn mowers, high pressure washers and other appliances. This device constantly monitors the balance of the current flow in both active and neutral wires of the tool and lead that you are using. If an imbalance occurs, as it would if current was to flow through the body to the earth, the safety switch will immediately detect this dangerous fault and switch the power off.
