This HPM Plug Boss 4 is designed for tough environments. Its ideal to use in workshops with power tools, diagnostic equipment and chargers. This powerboard protects against surges by limiting the voltage of the appliances. To indicate surge protection is available the red light near the socket will be lit when it is plugged in. If the light does not glow surge protection is no longer available. Your powerboard will continue to operate correctly, but you appliances will no longer be protected from surges. For continued surge protection HPM recommends you use a new surge-protected powerboard.
